Aimee Bruno, Office Manager
Aimee grew up in the Northeast and suffered throughout her childhood with Lyme disease. Her experience inspired her to become a Certified Health Coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in addition to studying personal training. She is an avid fitness guru and loves to cook and share ways to make healthy food delicious for kids and adults. She has two sons, Joey and Gabe. Her sons extreme allergies led her to dive deeper into how to heal instead of treat, led her to Deeper Healing and she wanted to be a core part of it. Aimee first joined Deeper Healing by running the Cellular Cleanse and helping patients remove toxicity on a daily basis. Aimee’s education, experience and positive demeanor made her a perfect fit for promotion. Brett Mosel, Certified Brain Align Technician
Brett grew up in Virginia and as an adult grew into living the busy DC lifestyle and eventually knew she wanted a change. In 2015, along with her husband and two daughters, moved to Charleston SC and became interested in creating more balance in her families life. Brett decided to pursue a career in Functional health coaching and became certified through Adapt Functional Health Coaching Program and started coaching clients. When Brett found Deeper Healing she knew she wanted to join the team. She traveled to Temecula, CA to train under Barry Bruder on Microcurrent Neurofeedback and became trained as the Iasis Practitioner for the Brain Align Treatment at Deeper Healing. Brett is thrilled to offer her experience to help patients heal themselves naturally.
Kim Brower, RN, Case Manager
Kim Brower grew up in Pennsylvania, married her high school sweetheart and moved to Charleston in 1993. She had goals of becoming a psychiatrist like her grandfather and while in his clinic realized she was being called to nursing. Kim received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and then continued on to obtain a Bachelor’s in Nursing at Thomas Jefferson University. Her nursing career began as a NICU nurse at MUSC and then moved into Rehabilitation Nursing at Roper Hospital. Kim became interested in Functional Medicine personally when she started having health issues that were not getting resolved. She began following the journey of Deeper Healing and decided she needed to be apart of it. Kim and her husband have two grown children, Grace and Hamilton, and they are all avid boaters and spend a lot of their free time outside and on the water.
Danielle Howley, Chief Marketing Officer
Danielle Howley co-founded Deeper Healing with Dr. Bauerschmidt. Quite literally stalking him with the mission of creating the healing center that she wished she could have found when her husband was chronically ill and bedridden (healed for years now after 10 years of decline). Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science from Drexel University with a Minor in Psychology. She attended graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania, concentration: Education, Culture and Society. She has spent her entire personal and professional life in the cross section of marketing and health/wellness. For twenty years she ran a marketing consulting firm that she created which built innumerable campaigns for many corporate/education clients such as: Aetna U.S. Healthcare, University of Pennsylvania Medical School, Novartis, Chester County Hospital, Vanguard and more. At the same time in her personal life, Danielle became committed to creating a safe, non-toxic environment when her firstborn arrived prematurely and deepened when her husband became ill. This journey eventually led her to combine her professional talents and personal experiences to help others live “well” and heal naturally through Deeper Healing, a dream come true.
Grace Saboe, Hydrocolon Therapist
Grace grew up in Charleston with her large extended family. She attended Bishop England on Daniel Island and then went on to the University of Georgia to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. Grace joined Deeper Healing years ago after leaving a large Dermatology practice where she was a Medical Assistant. Grace jumped at the opportunity to join Deeper Healing as a patient care coordinator, incorporating her interest and education in nutrition and medicine into her daily work life. She was then promoted and trained in Hydrocolon Therapy by some of the best trainers in the US and is a vital part of the team. Grace loves helping the patients from all over the US understand the healing modalities offered at Deeper Healing. She is in full time nursing school at the Citadel and plans to continue her education and career as an Nurse Practitioner in the future.
Sam Sanders, Clinical IV Nurse
Sam Sanders, a native of South Carolina, has called Charleston home for the past 6 years. With over a decade of experience in the medical field, Sam holds degrees in Exercise Science and Nursing. Physical health, specifically exercise and nutrition, has always been a strong value in Sam’s life. However, over the last several years, Sam’s focus has shifted towards not only maximizing physical health but emotional and spiritual health as well. “My goal is to constantly challenge myself, push my boundaries, and nurture my mind, body, and spirit to their fullest potential. I want to help others experience this as well.” This journey has led Sam to delve deeply into personal development, mental health, biohacking, longevity, anti-aging, neuroscience, alternative health, and functional medicine. Working at Deeper Healing aligns perfectly with Sam’s beliefs and lifestyle, as the mission resonates with his pursuit of holistic well-being. Outside of the medical realm, Sam is a passionate musician, regularly contributing to the worship team at Seacoast Church on weekends. Happily married and the proud parent of a fur baby, Sam embodies a diverse range of interests and experiences that complement the team at Deeper Healing.
Matt Rudy, Clinical IV Nurse
Matt was born and raised here in Charleston, South Carolina. Matt has three degrees, one in Exercise Science, another in Health Science, and finally Nursing. He received his BSN in nursing from Charleston Southern University, and works part time at Deeper Healing and full time in the ER. “I was attracted to Deeper Healing because my calling is to help make a difference in people lives and what better way to do that then at Deeper Healing where we go above and beyond what anyone else is doing to help find the solutions to improving people’s lives.” Matt loves fitness, college football “Go Dawgs” and pushing his body to new limits. He loves to travel and experience new things and is a great addition to the IV floor at Deeper Healing.
Lisa Hutson, Rejuvenace Cleanse Trainer
Lisa grew up in the Chicago area and pursued her passion for nutrition at the University of Wisconsin. For the past 12 years, she has worked as a health coach, empowering individuals to adopt a healthy, holistic lifestyle and transform their relationships with food. Beyond her professional endeavors, Lisa is a proud mom of three wonderful sons. Recently, she made the exciting move to Charleston, where she is embracing the beauty of the beach and sunshine. Lisa brings her expertise and enthusiasm to her work, inspiring others to cultivate a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Meg Key, Patient Care Coordinator
Meg grew up in Pennsylvania just over the Mason Dixon line. She then attended Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh for Environmental Science. She has worked in the medical field for over 10 years in different specialties of medicine. She wanted to make some changes and found Deeper Healing. Her goal is to help people that are struggling to get answers from traditional medicine and help guide them in their journey. She lives in Summerville with her husband, son, and 3 dogs. She loves to travel and see different cultures. She is a self proclaimed foodie and enjoys cooking different types of cuisines. Allie Shelby, Patient Care Coordinator
Gina Cannella, Resonance Therapy Specialist
Regina “Gina” Cannella grew up in the Lowcountry on James Island in Charleston, SC. Her entire career has been dedicated to helping others heal. First, as an Occupational Therapy Assistant with the senior population in skilled nursing facilities for 20+ years. Then, after moving to the beautiful Northwest in Seattle, WA, Gina discovered natural medicine. After facing a tough situation, she didn’t know what to do with, Gina entered an acupuncture clinic and experienced her first acupuncture treatment ever. It was such a mind-expanding experience and Gina was so impressed that she immediately enrolled at the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Seattle and completed a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture. This degree was followed by certifications in sound healing therapy and Reiki which grew Gina’s passion for using sound therapy on acupuncture points. She witnessed the power of combining sound therapy and needle-less acupuncture, finding it was a highly effective way to access the healing Qi (energy). “I am forever grateful that Deeper Healing has welcomed me, and this healing modality into this amazing space to benefit their patients,” says Gina.
Kristi Evans Guida, Wellness Concierge
Kristi grew up in Anderson, South Carolina. She worked in customer service and retail management and met her husband Rob. They have been married over 35 years, blessed with 4 children and 3 beautiful granddaughters. They traveled a lot with their professions which took them all over NC, out west to Utah, and overseas to Europe, where they enjoyed seeing the world. They moved back to SC to finish raising their children and offer them more stability. At the same time, Kristi wanted to make a change professionally and was given an opportunity to run an Optometrist office. She became the face and heart of that office. Her passion and work ethic as an office manager and optician led her to Deeper Healing. Kristi’s love, compassion, kindness, empathy, faith, and hope for healing people have made her a beloved welcome at Deeper Healing.
Lauren Yingling, Wellness Concierge
Lauren grew up in Baltimore, MD and moved to South Carolina in 2022 for a change of pace. She is a middle child of three, and like all Baltimoreans she loves the Ravens, the Orioles, and crab cakes. Lauren graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in International Relations, but her passion for health and fitness led her to become a certified personal trainer, a certified health coach, and a certified group fitness instructor with the American Council on Exercise. As a fitness trainer and health coach, Lauren has loved empowering others to cultivate wholesome lifestyle habits that enhance their overall wellbeing. Lauren is excited to bring her enthusiasm for health and wellness to Deeper Healing.

Lisa is a highly knowledgeable Integrative Nutrition Health Coach with a deep understanding of health and wellness fundamentals. In a world where information can be overwhelming + misleading, Lisa stands as a reliable guide, helping individuals make informed, balanced decisions. She is adept at navigating the complexities of modern toxic burdens and stressors and provides effective strategies to manage and minimize their impact. Well versed in dietary theories, environmental toxins and how to avoid them and practical wellness practices, Lisa is a determined and passionate advocate for anyone that wants to better their health and well-being. Marty Howley, Engagement/Operation Support
Marty grew up in Pennsylvania, raised as an only child by Irish immigrant parents that had moved to the US for a better life. He was the first in his family to attend college, graduating from Temple University with a degree in Business Administration and went directly into technology sales. He was awarded as a top sales leader in tier one markets working for large private firms for most of his career. Married to Danielle for 30 years, Marty is a devoted husband and dad to their 3 children, Gavin, Kenna and James. It was Marty’s health journey (and recovery in 2018) that spurred the desire in Danielle to create a medical center that they struggled to find during their ten years of searching. Marty was the project manager for the new state-of-the-art center that opened in July 2023 and continues to support the centers growth and expansion in many ways. “It is a joy to be able to help shorten the runway for people who suffered like I once did.”
Christine Arieta, Marketing/Onboarding Assistant
Christine Arieta has a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and has worked for years in marketing and customer service for numerous corporations. She was thrilled to join the Deeper Healing team because it combined all her professional interests, medical and marketing and her personal aspiration of helping others. Christine works at home with her 3 fur babies that keep her company while she works. She is a great addition to the team.
Edie Wright, Certified EMF Practitioner
Edie grew up in North Carolina and moved to the Lowcountry with her husband almost twenty years ago, where they’re now raising their two daughters. Edie is a veteran, former college professor, and pianist turned full-time mom and health and wellness enthusiast. Her interest in a healthful diet, lifestyle, and holistic healing began when her first child was born with bacterial meningitis and was told by doctors that her daughter could have developmental delays, hearing loss, and brain damage. Edie began delving into research on optimizing health, and in doing so, embraced living as cleanly as possible and became a certified holistic nutritionist and more recently has become the Certified EMF Practitioner for Deeper Healing. Edie found Deeper Healing shortly after it opened when she was seeking holistic care for her daughter who began experiencing health issues. Dr. Bauerschmidt was the only doctor to get to the root cause of the issue and provide the treatment which brought healing for her daughter. Edie is so thankful to have a practice like Deeper Healing so close to home and is thrilled to be joining the team! Edie passionately educates families about the damaging effects of EMFs and does home visits for Deeper Healing patients to help them evaluate and remediate their environment.
