Michael Bauerschmidt, MD
Dr. Michael Bauerschmidt is the Founder and Medical Director of Deeper Healing Medical Wellness Center where people travel in from all over the country to receive unique cutting-edge treatments. Dr. B is a physician who has honed his skills over time to do deep medical detective work and create treatments and programs that work to heal the body naturally. Dr. Michael Bauerschmidt is a member and past President of the American College for the Advancement in Medicine (ACAM). He is a key opinion leader in Functional and Environmental Medicine, and recognized nationally as an expert in the treatment of complex diseases. Dr. Bauerschmidt received his Medical Degree from the Ohio State University, was residency trained in Family Practice, and board certified in Emergency Medicine. He also was certified in Chelation Therapy by ACAM and completed a year-long Fellowship in Environmental Medicine. Dr. Bauerschmidt has spent more than 22 years in Emergency Medicine, including Medical Director of Emergency Services at Imperial Point Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Stephanie McCarter, MD
Dr. Stephanie McCarter is a board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Environmental Medicine. With extensive experience in both fields, she is dedicated to promoting total wellness by recognizing the interconnectedness between the body, mind, and spirit. Graduating from Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. McCarter completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at the same institution. Throughout her career, she had the privilege of working alongside the late Dr. William Rea, a renowned environmental medicine physician. Notably, she helped write Dr. Rea’s books, including “Reversibility of Chronic Degenerative Disease and Hypersensitivity”, Vol. 1, and “EMF Effects from Power Sources and Electrosmog”. Dr. McCarter is nationally and internationally recognized as an expert in environmental medicine and electromagnetic sensitivity. She has delivered lectures and interviews on various topics within Environmental Medicine, covering indoor/outdoor air quality, avoidance of pollutants in air, food, and water, implant syndrome, provocation neutralization immunotherapy, and electromagnetic sensitivity. Since 2007, she has been actively involved in lecturing at international EMF conferences, focusing on electromagnetic sensitivity. Certified by the American Academy of Environmental Medicine as an expert Dr. McCarter specializes in mold and mycotoxin diagnosis and treatment. Her expertise extends to the treatment of patients with chronic illnesses, allergies, Lyme disease, Streptococcal infections, and chronic viral/parasitic infections. She has deep experience helping neurodivergent children. She is also well-versed in bioidentical hormone therapy and utilizing LDA (low dose antigen immunotherapy) for a wide range of issues. Dr. McCarter is a member of esteemed organizations including the American College of Physicians, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, and the International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness. She also serves as an advisor to the board of the National Association of Environmental Medicine. Passionate about creating a healthy living environment, Dr. McCarter has personally designed her own eco-friendly home with minimal electromagnetic fields. She collaborated with renowned experts in healthy house building, such as David Rousseau and Tang Lee from Canada, and Mary Oetzel from Texas. In practice, Dr. McCarter emphasizes the importance of treating the body as an energetically open system that interacts with its surrounding environment in order for patients to achieve optimal wellness.
